Hey, I’m Jono, the face behind Tubbzmix Entertainment.
I’ve been DJing for over 20 years, starting out in pubs and local venues before building Tubbzmix into what it is today, a trusted, award-winning name in wedding and event entertainment across Victoria and Southern NSW.
Over that time, I’ve learned that being a great DJ isn’t just about playing good music, it’s about understanding people. It’s about reading the room, knowing when to build the energy, when to switch things up and how to create moments that feel natural rather than forced. No two crowds are ever the same, and that’s what I love most about it.
Weddings in particular are something I take seriously. It’s one of the biggest days in your life, and the atmosphere plays a huge part in how it all comes together. I take the time to get to know each couple, understand what they want their night to feel like and make sure the music reflects that from start to finish.
I’m also a MarryMark Certified Wedding Professional, which reflects my commitment to high standards, ongoing development and delivering a professional, reliable experience for every couple I work with.
On the day, my focus is simple, make everything easy for you. That means working in with your venue and vendors, keeping things running smoothly as MC when needed, and making sure the energy is always where it should be, whether that’s relaxed and intimate or full dancefloor party mode.
I’ve been lucky enough to be recognised along the way, including being named #1 Wedding DJ in our region and ranking in the Top 5 Wedding DJs in Australia, but for me, the real reward is seeing a packed dancefloor and hearing that your guests are still talking about the night weeks later.
My approach has always been the same, treat every wedding like I’m DJing for a friend. No shortcuts, no generic playlists, just a genuine focus on creating an incredible night for you and your guests.

What started in pubs and small venues has grown into one of the most recognised wedding entertainment providers in North East Victoria and Southern NSW, built on experience, consistency and a genuine passion for what we do.
