At Tubbzmix Entertainment, we don’t just play music — we bring weddings to life.
From the ceremony to the final song on the dancefloor, we provide a seamless soundtrack for your entire day. Our experienced DJs double as skilled MCs, guiding the flow of your celebration while keeping the energy just right. We also offer a range of add-ons, including a digital photobooth (with instant display and downloadable images), venue uplighting, special effects lighting, and smoke machines to set the perfect vibe.
Based just outside of Wangaratta, we travel far and wide — it’s not unusual for us to drive over 500km to be part of a couple’s big day.
Every wedding we play is treated like it’s our own. We take time to understand your vision, read the room, and craft a personalised experience your guests will remember long after the last track fades.
About Jono
Hey, I’m Jono — founder of Tubbzmix Entertainment, wedding DJ, MC, and proud dad of three.

I’ve been behind the decks for over two decades, starting out in the back rooms of pubs before building one of the most recognised wedding DJ businesses in regional Australia. In that time, I’ve DJ’d hundreds of weddings across the country, picked up awards (including being named in the Top 10 Wedding DJs in Australia at the Wedding Industry Awards), and most importantly, helped couples create the kind of nights their guests still talk about years later.

What drives me? It’s not just the music — it’s the people. I genuinely care about every couple I work with and treat each wedding like I’m DJing for a friend. That personal connection is what makes the difference between a good night… and an unforgettable one.
When I’m not out on the road or in the booth, you’ll find me wrangling kids, tinkering with multiple project cars, or scrolling marketplace looking for more cars.

Story
How we started..
Tubbzmix Entertainment began with a pair of headphones, a second-hand mixer, and a 17-year-old named Jono spinning tracks in Albury. Mentored by a local DJ, Jono learned not just how to mix music — but how to truly read a crowd and bring energy to any room. That skill became the foundation of everything we do.

After DJing a few private parties, weddings quickly followed. The connection, the atmosphere, the once-in-a-lifetime moments — Jono found his calling in creating unforgettable celebrations.
What started as a solo passion has grown into a full team of professional DJs, each bringing the same care, energy, and crowd-savvy style to every event. From backyard weddings to large-scale receptions, Tubbzmix is built on one simple goal: delivering amazing memories through music.
